Open Photo
Open photo is one person's project to create a Creative Commons licensed stock photography source (license is attribution required). All photos are apparently taken by Michael Jastremski, and the site requires attribution for the photos go to "openphoto.net".

This University of North Texas Site has images and movies available for free under the Creative Commons licensing (attribution required; non-commercial use; share-alike). The site is aimed at media for educational use.
